High Five for Friday - Pt. 2

This week has flown by. You know it's a good one when you have trouble narrowing down all the high points to only five. And on top of this great week, today marks the beginning of my spring break.
I spent last weekend in nashville with friends for the OVC tournament. The trip is a yearly tradition and last year we tacked on a new tradition by eating at the Copper Kettle. If you're ever in the area be sure to go on Sunday for the breakfast buffet. They have everything you can think of. This year everyone's favorite was the crème brûlée.
Another thing we had to do while we were in Nashville was go shopping. This photo is from Studded. It was a place near our condo that we fell in love with (the girls, that is). We also had a chance to stop by Green Hills mall and drool over everything in Kate Spade. That girl has it figured out.
It seems like every week I get random catalogs in the mail, and I love it. I can't figure out where they're coming from. There are a lot. Lucky, InStyle, Cosmo, Vogue, Elle, and I could go on. I took a stack of them to work with me on Monday, including the new Pantone catalog, and they made the slow hours rush by.
This was one of the big ones this week. :) we finally got to meet Meghna! A good friend of Nate's got married a few months ago and all of our friends finally got to meet his wife this week. We're so excited that she's finally here. Now we can actually go shopping together instead of just talk about it on Twitter, haha. Congrats to the newlyweds!
And the major high? Nate's birthday was yesterday. He wanted carrot cake for his birthday this year so I found the recipe for the one pictured above from Faux Martha. It was so good and it wasn't nearly as difficult to make as the one he requested last year

Have a great weekend!
